ARPU (Average Revenue per Unit)
Average revenue generated per customer per month
Bundling Rate
Number of services subscribed to per subscribing household.

Churn rate

HDR
HDR is High Definition Recorder capabilities with a High Spec Double Tuner Recorder, a new J:COM TV Digital service.
With the new HDR service, J:COM TV Digital subscribers can record up to 20 hours of High-Definition quality TV programming with the ability to record two programs simultaneously on separate channels, along with other advanced HDR features.
HFC (Hybrid Fiber and Coaxial)
A method for devising CATV networks by combining fiber-optic and coaxial cable. Fiber optics is used for the backbone system, while coaxial cable, which is run through a signal converter, is installed in the home of service users.
HOG (Headend On the Ground)
Breaking away from hitherto used satellite distribution, refers to constructing a ground-based video transmission network. Monopoly distribution of high vision channels, realizes stable video distribution, and promotes the strengthening and differentiation of cable television services.
Homes Passed
The number of households within the company's area, where network construction has been completed and services are immediately ready for offer.
Master Headend
Servers and routers, other equipment for digital broadcasting facilities, telephone switch, and broadband facilities. J:COM has master headends at three locations nationwide.
MSO(Multiple Systems Operator)
This is a company that oversees cable television operations. MSOs invest in multiple cable television stations (cable television operators and category 1 electrical and telecommunications operators), raising management efficiency by overseeing operations.
MSOs also conduct joint purchasing of programming content and necessary equipment, leveraging centralized management to reduce costs.
MVNO
A mobile virtual network operator is a company that does not own a licensed frequency spectrum, but resells wireless services under their own brand name, using the network of another mobile phone operator.
Number of Households Connected
The number of households subscribed to one or more services.

PPV (Pay Per View)
A method of charging fees for digital content provided over a network based on the number of times that data is downloaded. On VOD systems, for example, viewers are charged for each movie they watch.
RGU (Revenue Generating Units)
Total number of services offered.
Primary Quality VoIP Service
Primary quality fixed line telephony service using IP technology. User fees and services specifications are exactly equivalent to our fixed line telephony service based on heretofore used switching equipment.
STB (Set Top Box)
A device that connects to a television and some external source of signal, and turns the signal into content then displayed on the screen.
Triple Play
The provisioning of the three services, television, high-speed Internet and telephone service over a single broadband connection.

VOD (Video On Demand)
The concept of enabling viewers to use television-based receivers and PCs to control when and in what form they view movies, sporting events and other video content.
