| Call Blocking |
 |
You can register up to 30 numbers for call blocking. Once youhave 30 numbers registered, registering any additional number willdelete the oldest number. |
|
You can block a number irrespective of whether callers havechosen to display their numbers or have their number withheld (byprefixing 184.) |
|
Telephone numbers may not be registered for call blocking inthe following cases:

International calls (certain calls excepted) |
|
Calls via certain communications carriers (including mobilecommunications carriers) |
|
Calls that cannot display the caller's number using certainforwarding services |
|
Certain public telephones, etc. |
|
|
| Caller ID |
|
Telephone sets and adapters compatible with the NTT's NumberDisplay caller ID service are required. |
|
Please refer to your telephone set manual and change thesettings. |
|
When calls are received in the following cases, the telephonenumber cannot be displayed, although the reason will be displayed.

International calls (certain calls excepted) |
|
Calls via certain communications carriers (including mobilecommunications carriers) |
|
Calls that cannot display the caller's number using certainforwarding services |
|
Public telephones, etc. |

| Call Waiting Display |
|
To use the Call Waiting Display service, you will need to signup for Caller ID and Call Waiting, and have a telephone setcompatible with Call Waiting Display. |
|
This service may not be available in certain areas. |
|
| Speed Dial |
|
Up to 50 numbers can be registered. |
|
You will need to sign up for Tone Dial as well. |
|
| Three Way Calling |
|
Call charges for the first two parties are billed to thecaller. |
|
Call charges for the call between the person who has activatedThree Way Calling and the third party are billed to the person whoactivated Three Way Calling. |
|
Call Waiting is not available while Three Way Calling isactivated. |
|
A call may not be made to a third party in the following cases:
|
When the dial tone is audible; when a number is being dialed;when the ring tone is audible; when the line is busy, etc. |
|
When calling the special service (1XX number) or the toll-freeline (0AB0 number) of the Company or another carrier. |
|
|
| Call Waiting |
|
Call Waiting can not be activated in the following cases:
|
When the dial tone is audible; when a number is being dialed;when the ring tone is audible; when the line is busy, etc. |
|
When calling the special service (1XX number) or the toll-freeline (0AB0 number) of J:COM or another carrier. |
|
|
When another call is incoming while you are receiving dataservices such as facsimile or the Internet, the call may bedisconnected. |
|
| Number Announcement |
|
It is possible to check the telephone number of the last callonly. |
|
The caller's number may not be checked in the following cases:
|
International calls (excepting certain calls) |
|
Calls via certain communications carriers (including mobilecommunications carriers) |
|
Calls that cannot display the caller's number using certainforwarding services |
|
Public telephones, etc. |

| Call Forwarding |
|
Calls may not be forwarded in the following cases.
|
When calling the special service (1XX number) or the toll-freeline (0AB0 number) of J:COM or another carrier. |
|
Calls of communications carriers that are not connected withour networks, international calls, etc. |
|
|
Call charges for calls made from the party who has activatedCall Forwarding to the number forwarded to are billed to the personwho activated Call Forwarding. |
|
When there is an incoming call after Call Forwarding isactivated, the phone will ring for 0.5 second but the call cannotbe received. |
|
When the forwarded call is forwarded again to another number,the call quality cannot be guaranteed. |
|
When Call Forwarding is activated, Call Waiting and Caller IDcannot be used |
|
Call Forwarding and Dual Number Line Contract cannot be used atthe same time. |
|
| Dual Number Line Contract |
|
This service cannot be used simultaneously with CallForwarding. |
|
This service is not available if you have a contract with theNumber Portability service (to keep using a NTT telephone numberwith J:COM). |
|
| Tone Dial |
|
Please refer to the manual that accompanies your telephone setand change the settings from dial pulse to touch-tone. |
