About SIM unlock
To use the J:COM MOBILE SIM Card, customers using docomo/SoftBank line terminals (including iPhones) must unlock the SIM.
- For au lines, VoLTE compatible terminals released after August 2017 do not require SIM unlocking and can be used as is. Before that, even models released by au require SIM unlocking.
About SIM lock
If you are using a docomo/SoftBank line terminal, it is "SIM locked" and you will not be able to use your J:COM MOBILE SIM Card as is. You will need to complete the SIM unlock procedure in advance.
