J:COM LINK TV related apps
You can enjoy J:COM TV from your smartphone or tablet using an app that works with the set-top box "J:COM LINK."
- At home, you can watch currently broadcasting programs and recorded programs on your smartphone or tablet.
- You can download (dubbing) recorded programs to your smartphone or tablet and take them with you. *1
- You can schedule recordings from the app's program guide even when you're on the go. (*Coordination settings with the "J:COM LINK" main unit are required in advance)

- To enjoy recorded programs on your tablet, you need to connect J:COM LINK and an external hard disk of 6TB or less. For 4K broadcasting, LAN recording (including dubbing and moving), and viewing of currently broadcast programs and recorded programs (including remote downloading) is not possible.
DiXiM Play for J:COM is an app that works with the set-top box "J:COM LINK" and allows you to remotely watch broadcasting and recorded programs from anywhere. *2

[About “J:COM STREAM” app]
- Recording not possible.
- Works cannot be purchased from the app (viewing is possible).
- As a general rule, the viewing period for downloaded movies is 48 hours.
[J:COM LINK app for smartphones and tablets]
- To use each app, you will need an internet connection, download the specified app, and pre-configure J:COM LINK itself. In addition, the "J:COM STREAM" app requires a J:COM Personal ID. Customers are responsible for the service charges required for use (only for the "J:COM STREAM" app, "J:COM MOBILE A Plan" does not use data communication charges).
- This service may not be available depending on the subscribed plan, connected terminal, connectivity settings, etc.
- 4K broadcasts/movies cannot be viewed or purchased.
- The number of devices that can be used for simultaneous viewing varies depending on the user environment and viewing method.
- Only for use within Japan.
- There are some broadcasts and movies that are not compatible with viewing outside the home via the app.

"GOLF NETWORK PLUS", which is popular as a golf score input and golf information viewing application, has been further enhanced.
In addition to being able to watch programs broadcasted on the 24-hour golf network (excluding some programs), you can also play back programs you missed and watch past programs.

4K J:COM Box / Smat J:COM Box TV related apps
This is an app that works with the set-top box (cable tuner) "4K J:COM Box."
- You can play the program currently being broadcast. (Even if you are watching on TV, you can watch counterprograms on your tablet)
- You can play recorded programs on the hard disk.
- You can display and operate the remote control on the tablet.

- What programs can I watch?

J:COM TV offers three plans to choose from. "J:COM TV Shin Standard" allows you to enjoy J:COM's video streaming with carefully selected specialty channels and Paramount+, which has arrived in Japan for the first time. "J:COM TV Flex" is a set of Netflix, Disney+, and specialized channels. We offer “J:COM TV Select,” which allows you to choose one of the 8 packs of channels you want to watch, as well as plans tailored to your needs.

- Can I watch on multiple TVs?

If you are signing up for J:COM TV for the first time, or if you are currently using a service other than J:COM TV and are signing up for J:COM TV additionally, you will receive terrestrial digital/ BS digital TV on your TV in your home. We will provide up to 3 dedicated set-top boxes (Smart J:COM Box) free of charge.
- CS broadcasts cannot be viewed using the free additional TV tuner device.
- If you would like to watch CS broadcasts on multiple TVs, please contact us via chat or phone.
- Can I record programs?

Programs can be recorded through the TV tuner equipment installed by J:COM. By connecting an external HDD or external recorder device, you can record up to 2 programs.
- Do I need a TV antenna?

There’s no need to install a TV antenna to use the J:COM TV service.
Broadcasts are received in bulk at J:COM and delivered directly to each home via cable line. By bringing a cable line into your home, you can watch terrestrial and satellite broadcasting (BS/CS) programs without installing an antenna.
At J:COM, you can also enjoy 4K broadcasting (BS/CS) with just one cable.To watch 4K broadcasts, you will need to use a designated tuner and a 4K-compatible TV that supports HDMI2.0/HDCP2.2 standards.
- Are there any video viewing services other than TV broadcasts?

At J:COM, in addition to TV broadcasting, you can enjoy four video streaming services on your big TV screen.
- J:COM STREAM (unlimited viewing) is a video service that allows unlimited viewing in a wide range of genres such as movies, dramas, anime, and variety shows for a fixed price.
- Netflix, the world's largest online streaming service *
- "Disney Plus" allows you to enjoy unlimited viewing of masterpieces, popular films, and originals from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic, and stars. *
- “DAZN” is a service that allows you to watch various domestic and international sports videos as live broadcasts or missed broadcasts. *

- Subscription to J:COM TV and installation of compatible apps are required. Please contact us for compatible models. In addition, a Wi-Fi environment and Wi-Fi connection settings between the 4K J:COM Box and the tablet are required. Viewing may not be possible depending on the Wi-Fi connection environment.
- Only one tablet can be used at a time.
- 4K broadcasting does not support DLNA (home network) viewing.
- Please check the Japan Cable Lab website for DLNA compatible models.
[Watching recorded programs on a tablet]
- To enjoy recorded programs on a tablet, you will need to use a "4K J:COM Box" and connect an external hard disk of 4TB or less. *Recording reservations cannot be made for 4K broadcasts.
- 4K broadcasting does not support LAN recording (including dubbing and moving).
