Mechanism of reliable power distribution while maintaining quality

The same power distribution equipment (electric wires, substations, indoor wiring, etc.) will be used as before, so the quality and safety of the electricity (possibility of power outages, etc.) will not change. Indoor construction *- No attendance is required.

    Based on an agency agreement between our company and Sumitomo Corporation (hereinafter referred to as "Sumitomo Corporation"), a retail electricity supplier, electricity supplied by Sumitomo Corporation is supplied as J:COM Denki.
    Hokkaido Electric Power Area
    Based on an agency contract between our company and Hokkaido Electric Power Co., Inc. (hereinafter "Hokkaido Electric Power"), a retail electricity supplier, we supply electricity supplied by Hokkaido Electric Power as J:COM Denki.

  • Imbalance replenishment from former general electric utilities and some of the electricity procured from other companies whose power plant cannot be specified are treated as "Others."

What do I need when I apply?

You will need the following information to apply: (Please have your electricity bill (meter reading slip, etc.) ready.)

  • Switching company name: Name of retail electricity company under contract
  • Current contract type: contract type/plan name in use
  • Subscriber name
  • Switching operator customer number: Customer number of the retail electricity company you are contracted with
  • Supply point identification number: A number that identifies the electricity supply point (22 digits)

Is indoor construction required when switching to "J:COM Electricity"?

You can switch to "J:COM Electricity" without any indoor construction work required *1.

Anyone who lives within the areas served by the following electric power companies can apply for "J:COM Denki" alone.

Are there initial costs such as fees?

There are no initial costs, such as fees or installation costs, associated with subscribing to "J:COM Denki."

There are no restrictions on the contract period.
You can cancel at any time without penalty.

For customers with long-term contracts that include other J:COM services, individual contract terms will apply.

Is "J:COM Denki/ J:COM DENRYOKU" eligible for discounts under government subsidies?

"J:COM Denki/ J:COM DENRYOKU" is eligible for the government's "Electricity and Gas Price Sudden Change Mitigation Measures Project," "Emergency Support to Get Through the Extreme Heat," and "FY2024 Electricity and Gas Fee Burden Reduction Support Project."
