J:COM accepts donations through video-On Demand and other means to support disaster-affected areas in response to disasters occurring all over the country.

You can apply using the "Donation On Demand" fundraising system that utilizes J:COM STREAM mechanism.
When a customer purchases eligible content, the proceeds are donated to the recipient organization as a fundraiser. Customers can easily participate in fundraising with a single touch of the remote control, and pay it together with their monthly payment amount.

J:COM also accepts donations from the Internet through the online donation payment system Congrant. Even those who are not subscribed to J:COM 's TV service can participate in the donation.

We are accepting donations with the idea of ``preserving the memory of the earthquake disaster.''
J:COM will match the total amount of your donations and give it to organizations involved in earthquake recovery support activities.

Operating procedure

How to operate fundraising On Demand demand on TV

  • * There are two types of screens depending on the device you are using. Click here for instructions on how to operate if the screen differs from the one below.

① Press the "VOD" button on the remote control and select the "Hobbies (free)/Fundraising" genre from the top menu on the top screen.

② Select “Donation” from the “Hobbies (free)/Donations” category narrowing menu.

(3) Select the donation amount (*) for “XX Contribution”.

④ Press "Rent" and watch the program

  • (*) Content prices include consumption tax. J:COM will add an amount equivalent to consumption tax and the same amount as the purchase amount, and then hand it over to the donation recipient.
  • * Contents are subject to change without notice.

Operation method on a screen different from the above

① Press the "VOD" button on the remote control and select "Free/Contracted Works" on the top screen.

② Select “Donation”.

(3) Select the donation amount (*) for “XX Contribution”.

④ Press "Proceed to rental" and select "Rent and watch" to watch the program for 30 seconds.

  • (*) Content prices include consumption tax. J:COM will add an amount equivalent to consumption tax and the same amount as the purchase amount, and then hand it over to the donation recipient.
  • *1 Please watch for 30 seconds without fast forwarding.
  • *2 Contents are subject to change without notice.
  • *3 Screen transitions are different on some devices.

Past fundraising reports

The J:COM Group accepts donations from everyone to support disaster areas in the event of a disaster. Donations from everyone will be sent to organizations such as the Japanese Red Cross Society that support reconstruction of the disaster area through J:COM. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

2020 Noto Peninsula Earthquake Disaster Relief Donation Report

Thank you very much for supporting the Reiwa 6 Noto Peninsula Earthquake Relief Fund from January 5, 2024 to February 29, 2024.

Report on the 2023 Great East Japan Earthquake reconstruction support fundraising campaign

Thank you very much for your cooperation in the Great East Japan Earthquake recovery support fundraiser from January 1, 2023 to December 31, 2023.
