  • Depending on the customer's contract plan, usage status, and fluctuations in fuel cost adjustment amounts, the price may not be lower.
  • The usage portion is discounted compared to the former general electric utilities, with a 3% discount when the third stage is applied.
  • Electricity rates are determined by factors such as your contract plan, usage, and fluctuations in fuel cost adjustments. Therefore, it is not guaranteed that all customers will receive a lower rate than their current electricity provider. Specific rates will vary depending on your usage.
Regarding preconditions and discount amount
  • The stated amount is for the meter reading in May 2024 and includes the basic charge.
  • A "fuel cost adjustment amount" and a "renewable energy generation promotion surcharge" are required separately.
  • [Prerequisites] Households who have subscribed to J:COM Denki home course and live in the Kansai area.
  • Based on our survey results as of January 2017, the average monthly electricity consumption for a four-person household is 642kWh. The actual amount may differ.
  • This does not include discounts taken as part of government measures to mitigate sudden changes.
  • [About the discount amount] <Up to the first 120kWh> (Local electricity unit price x usage amount) x 0.5% discount, <Over 120kWh and up to 300kWh> (Local electricity unit price x usage amount) x 1% discount, <For more than 300kWh> Calculated as (local electricity unit price x usage amount) x 3% discount. During the period, eligible customers who sign up for J:COM Denki Home Electricity Plan for the first time will receive a discount on their usage fees from the month following the month in which J:COM Denki service is activated.

Discount amount

300 yen (tax included) (273 yen (tax excluded)) x 12 months

period Monday, December 1, 2025 - Sunday, May 31, 2026
Target audience

Customers who live within J:COM J:COM Electricity Home Plan during the period (December 1, 2025 to May 31, 2026), and have their service activated by the end of July 2026.

Apply
  • A discount will be applied to the monthly J:COM electricity usage fee for the month following the month after J:COM electricity is activated.
  • This offer can only be applied once per household.
  • This does not apply if J:COM Electricity contract has been cancelled as of the month prior to application.

  • After the discount period ends, the regular rate will automatically continue.
  • May not be applicable in conjunction with some other promotions. For details, please contact J:COM.
  • If you cancel your J:COM Electric contract during the discount period, the discount will end.
  • This campaign may be subject to change without notice even during the applicable period. However, for customers who have already completed their application and have begun receiving service, the terms and conditions in effect at the time of application will apply.

  • If you are currently subscribed to another retail electricity provider, you will need to switch to J:COM Denki to sign a contract.

  • This service uses the power transmission and distribution lines of general power transmission and distribution companies, so in the event of unavoidable circumstances such as nearby power outages or other natural disasters, power outages will also occur.
  • J:COM Denki service area is the area under the jurisdiction of Tohoku Electric Power, Tokyo Electric Power, Kansai Electric Power, Chugoku Electric Power, and Kyushu Electric Power (excluding some remote islands).
  • Depending on your area of residence and current contract details, you may not be able to switch to or continue using this service.
  • For new subscribers to J:COM Denki. Discount applies to the monthly electricity charges from the month after activation. After the discount ends, the regular rate will automatically be applied. If you cancel during the discount period, the discount will end.

We will notify you of the start date (switchover date) of this service at a later date. 2. If this service has already been provided to you, we will cover the costs of canceling this service.
●If you request it, we will send you a separate, written or electronic copy of the full text of the notice based on the Specified Commercial Transactions Act without delay.
