We support local communities and sports through broadcasting and streaming programs that focus on local topics such as student sports, holding sports classes, and publishing sports and education columns.

High School Baseball Regional Tournament

J:COM channel will broadcast live the Summer High School Baseball Regional Tournament with powerful images and realistic ^commentary.* In some areas, the Autumn High School Baseball Regional Tournament will also be broadcast as a special program. As a cable TV channel with deep roots in the community, we will deliver all the can't-miss moments, such as a pitch with all our might and a swing of the club, and support the culmination of the baseball players' activities together with the local community.

J:COM旗 学童軟式野球大会（千葉県）

2021年度から柏市少年野球連盟が主催する大会に協賛しています。この大会には小学五年生以下の18チームが参加し、J:COMから優勝旗・メダルを提供、また、その模様を取材して地域メディアで放送を行っています。

J:COM カップ札幌地区ミニバスケットボール大会（北海道）

10年以上開催している少年野球の大会に加えて、2019年から札幌地区バスケットボール協会の主催する大会へ参画し、優勝カップやメダルの提供をおこなっています。大会の様子は地域メディアで放送しています。

SKIMO日本代表選手の活動サポート（群馬県）

2026年ミラノ・コルティナダンペッツォ冬季五輪の正式種目「SKIMO（スキーモ）」日本代表の上田絢加選手（中央カレッジグループ所属）の活動をサポートしています。
群馬県を拠点に五輪出場を目指す上田選手の挑戦を応援するとともに、ハイキングやウォーキングなど地域の子どもたちを対象としたイベントを通して、新たな地域共創と地域発展・活性化に取り組んでいきます。

三浦半島写真展（神奈川県）

2019年から年に一度、三浦半島にまつわる写真展を開催しています。2020年以降はコロナ禍で発表の場が限られてしまった高校生を応援する企画として高校写真部から作品を募り、発表の場として活用していただいています。

田無神社絵馬コンテスト（東京都）

The Ema Contest is held every year to encourage people to feel closer to local shrines. Designs are solicited from all over the country, and the awards are decided by a panel of judges made up of local artists, with the grand prize winner being selected as the design for the Ema the following year. J:COM presents the J:COM Award to elementary school students and younger.

高校軽音フェスティバル（大阪府）

The event has been held at Zepp Namba since 2017 to support high school club activities in Osaka Prefecture, as well as Hyogo, Kyoto, and Wakayama Prefectures.
In November 2022, the festival will be held with an audience for the first time in three years, and in June 2025, high school students from Osaka Prefecture will perform on the grand stage of the Osaka-Kansai Expo, which will be broadcast as a special program on local media.

Efforts to preserve traditions using Funai Senshi (Oita Prefecture)

毎年8月上旬に開催される「大分七夕まつり」のメインイベント「府内戦紙（ふないぱっちん）」に地域メディアとして関わり、J:COMチャンネルでの生中継を第10回から継続しています。自身が山車をつくり、踊り、祭りに参加する取り組みも続けています。地域の文化や伝統を未来へつなぐとともに、地域の皆さまとの直接の交流を通じて、地域に根付いた活動を進めています。
