J:COM works with local governments and partners to provide information about safety and security in the community through community channels, etc. In addition, in response to disasters that occur all over the country, J:COM accepts donations via video-On Demand, etc., and donates the same amount to the amount received from customers to support disaster-stricken areas.

Disaster prevention agreements with local governments, etc.

J:COM has concluded disaster prevention information agreements and regional support agreements with more than 200 local governments, and conducts disaster prevention and disaster information dissemination, support activities for disaster-stricken areas, and disaster prevention training. We will continue to work to prevent damage caused by disasters as much as possible, lead to early recovery, and enable our customers to live a safe and secure life.

It is possible to receive "disaster prevention administrative radio" broadcasts sent by local governments at home through a dedicated terminal (paid). In addition to delivering earthquake early warnings, weather information, evacuation information, etc., in the case of information issuance that threatens human life, the TV will automatically start and display evacuation information, weather information, etc.

Disaster relief agreements

Earthquake early warning

Based on information from the Japan Meteorological Agency, a dedicated terminal will calculate and notify you of the expected seismic intensity and the grace period until the shaking occurs, which cannot be known from the earthquake early warning for the general public.

Retransmission of disaster prevention administrative radio

In the event of a disaster, you can listen to the voice of disaster prevention administrative radio such as evacuation information broadcast by local governments from a dedicated terminal. You can rest assured even in situations where you cannot hear the broadcast from the outdoor speakers due to heavy rain, etc.
