J:COM NET Hikari will be provided to apartment complexes after December 7, 2023. Internet speeds vary depending on area. The serviced areas are gradually being expanded. Offered via either "J:COM NET Hikari on au Hikari (houses only, outside Kansai area)" / "J:COM NET Hikari" / "J:COM NET Hikari (N)" (unavailable in some areas) ).

[Construction costs]
- A separate contract administration fee of 3,300 yen (tax included) [3,080 yen (tax included) for Kyushu and Yamaguchi areas] is required.

- The monthly usage fee for applicable services will be discounted by the amount equivalent to the basic construction fee installment payment (<detached house> 1,800 yen (1,980 yen (incl. tax)) x 24 months, <apartment building> 1,400 yen (1,540 yen (incl. tax)) x 12 months, for 2-year long-term contracts 700 yen (770 yen (incl. tax)) x 24 months) (same applies when the basic construction fee is paid in one lump sum).
If you cancel during the discount period, the discount will end (you will pay the remaining installments in one lump sum). - For J:COM NET Hikari (N), the monthly fee for the applicable plan will be discounted by the amount equivalent to the basic installation fee installment (<If TV is included> 1,800 yen (1,980 yen (incl. tax)) x 24 months, <If TV is not included> 900 yen (990 yen (incl. tax)) x 24 months) (same for the basic installation fee lump sum payment). If the contract is cancelled during the discount period, the discount will end (installments for the remaining period will be paid in a lump sum). <If the customer installs the equipment themselves> 3,000 yen (3,300 yen (incl. tax)) will be free.

First of all, we will conduct a feasibility study (free of charge) to see if the service can be provided.
[For condominiums (multi-family housing)]
For properties that have installed J:COM throughout the building, or properties that have had a track record of installing J:COM in the past, you can immediately use the service by simply doing some simple indoor equipment work. Additionally, depending on the property, you may be able to use J:COM TV or J:COM NET at a special rate that is cheaper than usual.

What you need depends on what you are applying for.
We will guide you during the procedure, but please refer to the following and prepare in advance.[For new J:COM service applications]
- Contractor information (name, date of birth, gender, phone number, email address, address)
- Credit card in the name of the policyholder, or a specific financial institution account in the name of the policyholder
- Do I need to connect and configure the equipment myself?

J:COM will handle all equipment connections and settings during installation work.
J:COM 's construction personnel will visit the customer's home and install the equipment, initialize it, and explain how to use it. At this time, we will also take care of setting up peripheral devices such as televisions, computers, and printers.
Depending on the contracted service, you can choose "installation by workers" or "installation by the customer".

- It will be offered only once.
- Only one customer's computer is eligible. Additional charges will apply for the second and subsequent units. Please check with the operator regarding fees at the time of application.
- Only policyholders or family members living together can apply.
- We may not be able to respond to problems such as problems with your computer.
- In the case of J:COM NET Hikari (N), initial settings during a visit are not possible.

About J:COM TV, NET, and PHONE
If you sign a two-year contract, it will be a long-term contract for two years (automatic renewal).
For any other contracts with separate contract periods, the respective contract periods will apply.About J:COM MOBILE
If you cancel your contract midway through installment payments for your device, you will be required to pay the remaining amount in installments either all at once or in installments. In addition, payment timing and method will be based on the invoice from J:COM.

- Application for work contents is required before the visit. Additional applications cannot be accepted at the time of visit. DLNA devices are supported only for our DLNA-compatible set-top boxes.
- The only area you can visit is J:COM area.
- J:COM MOBILE can only be used on devices separately designated by our company (separate consultation is required for SIM Card only settings).
- J:COM MOBILE A Plan SU is not eligible for visits.
[J:COM Denki/About J:COM DENRYOKU]
- Depending on the fuel cost adjustment amount in your area and the details of your current contract, some applications may not be accepted.
- If you live outside the Hokkaido area and subscribe after April 4, 2024, you will be eligible for "J:COM Denki." If you subscribed before April 4, 2024, or if you live in the Hokkaido area, you will be subscribed to "J:COM Electric Power."
