1. Taking into consideration the nature and scale of our business (providing a wide range of services and information to our customers), we will implement appropriate and strict protection, management, acquisition, use, and provision of personal information.
2. When acquiring, using, and providing personal information, we will specify the purpose as clearly as possible and will not use it for any purpose other than that specified. We will also take measures to ensure this. We will specify the source or method of acquiring personal information as specifically as possible and will comply with laws and regulations concerning personal information, national guidelines, and other standards.
3. When managing personal information, we will appoint a person responsible for management, ensure appropriate management, and strive to prevent leakage to external parties. Furthermore, we will take all possible preventative measures, such as appropriate and reasonable security measures, to protect against risks such as unauthorized access from external sources, loss, damage, alteration, and leakage of personal information, and will promptly take corrective action in the event of an incident.
4. Personal information will be handled only to the extent necessary to achieve the purpose of use, and with due consideration to not infringing on the rights of our customers.

7. In the event of a leak or other incident involving a customer's personal information, we will endeavor to respond in accordance with laws and regulations, including promptly notifying the customer of the facts.
8. We will determine the retention period for customer personal information necessary for the purpose of use, and will delete the customer's personal information without delay after the retention period has expired or the purpose of use has been achieved. However, this shall not apply in cases where there are matters specifically stipulated by laws and other regulations.
9. We may change the contents of this Privacy Policy as needed. In this case, the updated content will be posted on the "JCOM" website.

Acquisition and use of personal information

Our company complies with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information (Act No. 57 of 2003), the Basic Policy on the Protection of Personal Information (Cabinet Decision of April 2, 2004), the Guidelines on the Protection of Personal Information of Broadcast Subscribers, etc. (Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications Notification No. 696 of 2004), the Guidelines on the Protection of Personal Information in the Telecommunications Business (Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications Notification No. 695 of 2004), and other laws and guidelines related to our business, and may use personal information as follows in accordance with JIS Q 15001.
Furthermore, we will comply with the certified personal information protection guidelines for the broadcasting sector, which were created by the certified personal information protection organization (Personal Information Protection Center within the Broadcast Security Center Foundation) to which our company belongs.

Even if we act as a proxy for the delivery of information that may be beneficial to customers from companies and organizations other than our company, we will not provide personal information to such companies and organizations without the consent of the customer.
However, if the customer requests information provision, service provision, product ordering, application, contact, or mediation from companies/organizations other than our company, or exhibits related to those companies/organizations If you apply for a meeting or seminar, we may provide your personal information to the company or organization concerned.
